چکیده
Carbon nanomaterials are of great interest for next generation nanofluids. nanotubes and graphene are, in particular, highly thermally conductive their use as thermal fluid is gaining momentum among the research community. This work investigates performance nanoplatelet (GnP)-nanofluid multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT)-nanofluid by using a concentric pipe heat exchanger. The prepared nanofluid flowed inner hot fluid, which was opposite direction colder water flow annulus pipe. investigation conducted varying volumetric (from 1.5 to 2.5 L/min) concentration 0.01 0.35 vol%). transfer coefficient (HTC) GnP-nanofluid observed be superior that MWCNT-nanofluid. maximum increase HTC relative pure base approximately 16.8, 24.2 26.1% GnP-nanofluid; 8.8, 13.8 14.4% MWCNT-nanofluid flowing at 1.5, 2.0 L/min, respectively. positive impact on enhancement reached when an optimum both Compared ratio brought 0.15 vol% produced greater ratio, even relatively low (0.05 vol%) (1.5 rather desirable practical applications.

Heat Transfer Performance of Functionalized Graphene Nanoplatelet Aqueous Nanofluids
The low thermal conductivity of fluids used in many industrial applications is one of the primary limitations in the development of more efficient heat transfer systems. A promising solution to this problem is the suspension of nanoparticles with high thermal conductivities in a base fluid. These suspensions, known as nanofluids, have great potential for enhancing heat transfer. The heat transf...

The effect of γ-Al2O3 nanoparticles on heat transfer rate, baffle spacing and pressure drop in the shell side of small shell and tube heat exchangers was investigated numerically under turbulent regime. γ-Al2O3-water nanofluids and pure water were used in the shell side and the tube side of heat exchangers, respectively. Since the properties of γ-Al2O3-water nanofluids were variable, they were ...

Heat transfer coefficient and thermal efficiency of γ-Al2O3/water nanofluids flowing through a double tube heat exchanger were experimentally investigated. The nanoparticles were well dispersed in distilled water at 0.05–0.15 %vol. A large number of experiments were performed at different fluid flow rates under turbulent flow regime (18,000<Re<40,000) and various nanofluid...
